Comscan is the Unlogic Universe's version of communications and scanning techniques. It is, interestingly, more efficient than the standard universe's way of communicating. It utilises subspace in order to achieve long range and high speed communications. It is also possible to send a message foreward in time using Comscan, as it relies on a Distance Compensator to travel faster than light (and time) for the right amount of time in order to reach any reciever instantly. If the Distance Compesator is jammed onto full, then the message will travel foreward in time to the end of the Universe, or if it is programmed properly, it can reach any time period in the future. Comscan can also be used to scan for objects and vessels using a technique similar to sonar, and to detect the transmissions of ships and machines.
